Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a FGP LPN (37.5). This position is based in Bay Terrace, Staten Island. The shift for the role will be Mon-Fri, 10am-6pm.
In this role, the successful candidate will perform patient related functions as directed by the Physician and/or Nurse Practitioner (NP), and properly documents them including administration of injectable.
Performs patient related functions as directed by the Physician and/or Registered Nurse (RN), and properly documents them including administration of injectibles and patch placement, set up for procedure.
Communicates directly with patients regarding their care or treatment using appropriate terminology and respectful manner. Interacts with medical staff efficiently. Interacts with support staff professionally. Proper patient education techniques.
Maintains and orders medical supplies. Maintains adequate stock. Keeps supplies orderly.
Assists with patient care and treatment. Prepares patient for treatment or examination. Prepares room with necessary supplies for exam or treatment. Assists with procedures as directed.
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must be a graduate of LPN program with current NYS OP LPN licensure and registration.
Required Licenses: LPN
