SUMMARY Would you like to work for a non-profit social services organization that provides services and support to families? The Butler head office requires a support person for the HR department. This person will help the organization to attract and retain the best staff by providing good compensation plans. This person will create a new compensation structure and implement it.
POSITION Responsibilities include: • Research current compensation plans and structures in other organizations • Apply findings and knowledge of compensation techniques, to current compensation structure within the organization including making calculations • Work with management to develop new compensation plans; job descriptions / titles; and / or job grading • Make sure compensation plans are in compliance with government regulation • Monitor the impact and effectiveness of compensation plans within the organization
REQUIREMENTS • A Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business • 2 years of experience of compensation experience. Experience creating a compensation plan, including knowledge of broadbanding and compa-ratios and ability to apply them. • Strong communication skills with ability to work well with senior level management • Ability to analyze and evaluate information • Good writing skills • Ability to grow in the position and the department • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
