And you'll do your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities: Leads provider network management team members in daily tasks, including daily distribution of tasks Ensure daily tasks are being met by the Provider Network Development Specialists Develop and maintain relationships with network providers Manage telephone calls; i.e. inbound/outbound, escalation calls, established metrics being achieved Manage assignments from start to finish Resolves operational issues in collaboration with co - workers Assists department staff with questions Performs quality review of department work to ensure department meets company quality standards Assists management with new team member training Collects performance data and generates reports for both individual and team performance Encourages team members and assists with remedial training Works closely with provider network supervisor to delegate tasks and goals All other duties assigned by Management
Required Qualifications:Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and healthcare related experience 3+ years of experience with healthcare provider network recruitment and contracting 1+ years of leadership experience Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel Preferred: Qualifications:Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Medical coding backgroundAble to follow routine procedures consistently and efficientlyAble to work independently, and in conjunction with team members at all levels of the organization Able to understand instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail - oriented, adaptable and self - motivated Able to resolve problems quickly and effectively Able to motivate others Able to delegate effectively If the hired individual resides in Florida (office based or telecommuting) this position requires the AHCA Level II background check (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all clinicians that have direct face to face contact with members OR employees who will have access to confidential patient data and will require renewal every five years.
