Must Have Special Requirements:
Possess, or be eligible to be granted, a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
Successfully undergone Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) that is current (within scope)
Must have a minimum of five (5) years' experience conducting direct DoD Acquisition support to DoD activities
Must be a SME in acquisition instruction
Identify areas of material, methods, aids used, or other elements of the training process in need of revision based on formal or informal student evaluations
Serve as a course manager or lead instructor for one or more assigned courses to be delivered to 401-level, 501-level, 600-level, officer development course, for grades 14 and 15 and DoD senior executives and will include course content that will address subjects such as: audit requirements; creating APRs; navigating the contracting process; Procurement Acquisition Lead Time (PALT) schedule; tools for success; “what could go wrong” – lessons learned; and other topics relevant to the acquisition process
Plan and develop internal strategies and participate in meetings to provide advice and assistance to resolve problems
Maintain contact with subject matter experts in order to anticipate changes that may affect training materials
Courses to be delivered monthly during twelve (12) month period
Create classroom and online course materials that support field-driven performance shortfalls for a 401-level, 501-level, 600-level, officer development course, for grades 14 and 15 and DoD senior executives
Oversee and create course content, which will address: audit requirements; creating APRs; navigating the contracting process; Procurement Acquisition Lead Time (PALT) schedule; tools for success; “what could go wrong” – lessons learned; and other topics relevant to the acquisition process
Research, implement, and evaluate training
Provide instructional systems design and documentation, storyboards, narrative scripts, graphics, textbooks, tests, and scenario props collaborating on training plans and blended learning implementation strategies
Provide quality assurance and peer reviews on design plans and instructional materials
Create professional level presentation materials to include acquisition and business content with a focus on knowledge at escalating levels of detail commensurate with the grade level of audience
Regularly participate in meetings requiring close interactions with various project stakeholders (clients, SME, and end users)
Perform needs and/or gap analysis to determine training needs
Track work and schedules to ensure work is completed within scheduling parameters
Produce quality results in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Collaborate with training team for knowledge transfer
Take initiative to learn existing system capabilities and grow knowledge base on complex system
Examples of data and information that may be created include: course curriculum documentation; programmed eLearning modules; newsletters; class feedback; class rosters; cumulative course data; analytics; white papers; workforce information; assessment plans; lesson plans, etc.

Acquisition / Budget process
Understanding of often sensitive IC procurement and acquisition planning activities.
Provided officer development course training, for grades 14 and 15, and Senior Executives
Good customer service / interaction skills
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Demonstrated high degree of independent judgment
Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with emphasis on self-initiation and follow through
