Job Responsibilities-Act as a Solution Architect & develop effective solutions using Big Data/ Hadoop. Participate in the POC's related to Big Data & Hadoop POC's-Manage a team of 8 Big Data Developers, along with 2 Technical Leads-Conduct Performance Appraisals, give feedback to the team-To be able to communicate efficiently and effectively and be able to understand, interpret and relate an organization's strategy and vision to the big data team-To strive to build personal relationships with the big data team as well as to promote a true big data culture-To be flexible in a changing environment and to be able to explain changes correctly to the big data team members-To be able to instil trust in the big data team members as well as to help them grow in their role-Be able to work with big data scientists, analysts and visualizers-Provide the best working environment for big data team members, removing them from all complexities and administrative work and ensure timely progressAgile Project Management-Champion the Agile Process-Guide Teams to Solve Problems-Find Ways to Reduce Waste-Project Governance-Business stakeholder communication-Issue/Risk communication/resolution/escalation – removing blockers-Project Planning-Ensuring the team adheres to its processes (and all that entails in termsof artifacts and meetings)-Resolution/escalation of inadequate or ill-defined user stories – ensuring Product Owner accountability-Removing barriers and shielding the team from external interference
Required Qualification Educational Qualification - Any Graduate Technical Skills - Java, Pig or SQL, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Map Reduce, HBaseExperience Required – 7 to 10 years overall with good experience in Big Data, Hadoop, Java projects.Project Management Experience - Minimum 3 years
