The Business Operations Architect will have overall responsibility and accountability for understanding and managing the impact to the end to end clinical process of new technology development. Develops and implements strategic plans for clinical user experiences including workflow interfaces and process change managementDevelop business workflow interface architecture for Clinical CapabilitiesDefine, document and prioritize change impacts for clinical workflow interfaces across segments and functionsRepresent operational impacts in joint solution design for clinical toolsIdentify end to end clinical workflow interface roadmap and interdependenciesProvide and participate in scenarios for user acceptance testing for workflow interfacesFacilitates segment adoption, understands issues, reviews plans, ensures smooth transitionsDefine, document and prioritize change impacts for clinical business solutions across functionsSupport Program across multiple tool releases and multiple functions Determination of large initiatives into overall multiple year delivery planUnderstanding of overall current and future company priorities, focus and politics as influences for business solutions alignmentParticipates in clinical strategic reviews Provides solution design consultation to detailed design teams to achieve maximum resultsDevelops and maintains strong working relationships with both internal and external customersWorks with the Senior Leadership team to gain approval for business solution designsProvides training, mentoring and coaching where appropriateProvides leadership, especially during change management initiativesPlans and organizes special projects in concert with Senior Management
8+ years prior business solutions or business process experience 5+ years of business solutioning experience with emphasis on operational architectureExcellent communication (written and verbal) and listening skills; expert facilitation skillsStrong organizational skills, detail orientedStrong sense of urgency and ownership for resolving issues.Experience with executive communications; ability to convey end to end strategy 8+ years of experience working within a large matrixed organization Ability to communicate business solutions and strategiesAbility to build relationships with Customers Strong computer skills Preferred Requirements:Undergraduate degree or higher level degree Agile experienceSix Sigma training or certification OR LEAN Provider operations knowledge strongly preferred Prior experience with risk based contracts Payer operations experienceConsulting Experience Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
