Note: The position mainly involves more general AR activities to ensure overall compliance and performance levels are achieved in the performance of these responsibilities. Primary Responsibilities:Close coordination with Director and field teams in leading the revenue services department billing and collection activities, ensuring monthly goals are achieved Oversight and management of all month end procedures related to the reporting of accurate revenue Request, prepare, and / or maintain requested reports on billing and collection activities Review and identify Adjustments / Write offs, reasons and action needed to improve Help develop and implement mechanisms and controls to ensure accurate and timely billing, in accordance with established internal and third party payor requirements Manage all personnel actions; performs performance evaluations; and initiates corrective - action plans when appropriate, including reporting results of follow - up audits Ensure compliance with all Government (Medicare, Medicaid, other) and commercial payers regulations and requirements Work closely across departments to communicate patient or payer issues and timely resolution Identify and develop strengths in staff members and work collaboratively with them to improve skills as needed Coordinate plans with appropriate resources to ensure training needs identified and addressed Provide leadership and direction to ensure that revenue services team successfully meet the current and future growth plans Identify opportunities to improve quality and workflow. Assist implementation of Best Practice Processes / SOP's Maintain, build and establish new customer relationships in conjunction with the managed care / payer relations team Gather and report on key metrics critical to evaluating results and driving performance. Develop plans to improve as needed Any other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:Four year degree or two year Associates degree is desirable with two years of previous management level experience in medical billing / reimbursement setting. 5+ years of successful supervisory experience preferably in either a home infusion or specialty pharmacy setting Multi - site experience managing billing and collections teams Knowledge and familiarity with compliance and documentation requirements for government and commercial payers Strong leadership and customer service skills Ability to develop, implement and monitor plans and strategies Demonstrates professional demeanor in relating to all patients, family members, referral sources, payors and employeesPreferred Qualifications:Strong analytical and organizational skills as well as the ability to be flexible with changing needs and deadlines Exceptional communication, interpersonal, listening, organizational, time management / problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to foster a team environment focused on exceptional patient care Dependable in attendance, job performance and other reliability requirements of the jobAlready Fortune 6, we are totally focused on innovation and change.
