Customized Training Representative (Unclassified MAPE)
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
The Director of Outreach will efficiently market and execute sales of comprehensive educational programs provided by St. Cloud Technical and Community College. This position will efficiently manage the sales, assessment, development, and delivery of continuing education and contract (customized) training to business and industry.
Bachelor's degree in related field.
Director level sales experience in a related field, i.e. manufacturing, construction, transportation, business and Information Technology.
Minimum of five years' experience in the hiring, development, and ongoing and annual assessment of the client sales and support team to include setting sales goals, forecasting sales, generating reports that show sales pipelines, and predictable revenue streams and monitoring all sales efforts to ensure that monthly, quarterly, and annual sales efforts are attained.
Experience with the monitoring and submissions of RFP's. Help with the completion of bids as necessary.
Experience seeking out opportunities to further market our brand and offerings through advertising initiatives, social media, relevant trade associations and other events. Experience in marketing development, planning, and implementation.
Experience using CRM software to keep track of account and account activity as well as to generate reports that show sales progression, and lead-to-contract timelines.
Travel to on-site locations to visit area businesses to assess training needs as well to other relevant event locations both within Central Minnesota and to other areas is a requirement.
Experience in dealing with RFPs and contracts for business, industry and/or government agencies.
Experience with and possess excellent presentation skills.
Experience in developing and managing budgets.
Experience in assessing and evaluating training and development needs of business, industry and/or government agencies.
Master's degree in related field.
Knowledge of organizational structures and processes as well as regulatory and industry requirements and standards related to manufacturing, construction, transportation, information technology, online learning and business development.
