In collaboration with Compliance and Governance regionally, as well as others throughout CLG globally, the key aspects of the role are:
Provide general legal and administrative support to the HK Legal Team
Assist the SIMHK Company Secretary in providing company secretarial services to SIMHK and its subsidiaries
Coordinate regional/ group projects including those relating to collation of management information
Under the guidance and supervision of the Legal Team, produce legal template documents (including those related to institutional and intermediary (funds) matters).
Key Responsibilities include:
Assist in review of legal agreements, including vendor agreements and matters in relation to brokers account opening, KYC documents etc.
Provide company secretarial support to SIMHK and its Hong Kong and China subsidiaries.
Conduct legal research, including company secretary related research and other legal research.
Upon the guidance and supervision of the Legal Team, provide support to Legal Team on fund matters.
Provide translation services to the Legal Team including China business-related documents.
Provide general administrative support to Legal Team, such as document management services to prepare and circulate execution copy documents, maintain related log(s), despatch of documents, archiving and document certification.
Coordinate regional/ group reportings (e.g. time allocation and other ad hoc requests from the group) and projects assigned from time to time, including direct enquiries to and discuss with relevant parties, coordinate and consolidate reply etc.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following requisites:
At least 5 years of relevant work experience ideally within a law firm or international organisation.
Degree in law or certificate in legal studies is preferred.
Strong in both written and verbal English and Chinese as this role will require to read/translate Chinese documents.
Technically strong on MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
