This is the place to do your life's best work.Primary Responsibilities:The position is a support role for the Fee-For-Service Network Management Contracting team for all CA business includes commercial, Medicare, Tricare, & MedicaidSupport 9 contractors with administrative functions such as submitting demographic and or contractual updates for our physician networkBasic auditing of systems to ensure contract and / or demographics updates are loaded correct based on submissionRespond to internal and external communications (via email, phone, or fax,) for status, to resolve issues, and / or run reportsMass mailing projectsOther clerical responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications: Associate of Arts Degree (or higher) in Business Administration or Secretarial 1+ years of experience in performing network adequacy analysis 2+ years of clerical or office experience Proficiency within Microsoft Word (creating, editing documents) Proficiency within Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, charts, v lookups, formulas) Proficiency within Microsoft Outlook (sending, receiving emails and calendar invites) Preferred Qualifications: B.A. / B.S Degree (or higher) in Business Administration / Healthcare Administration Knowledge of Medicare reimbursement methodologies, i.e. Resource Based Relative Value System (RBRVS) Knowledge of claims processing systems and guidelines Experience in a network management-related role, such as contracting administration or provider services Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
