The IAM Analyst is a member of the Information Services Access Management team, which is the gatekeeper for validating and authorizing customer access to the UC Davis Health System network and enterprise wide clinical and financial applications. The primary responsibilities of this position are to authorize and issue identification badges and grant and terminate access to enterprise applications and systems in accordance with the controls that govern information security. The IAM Analyst is responsible for ensuring required approvals are obtained before granting user access to an application or data and ensuring the access is appropriate for the customer's job at the health system. The IAM Analyst will be responsible for user access management, user provisioning, troubleshooting user issues, de-provisioning and maintenance of technical security controls for multiple applications. This position is responsible for adhering to IT general controls around compliance to documented standards.REQUIRED--Experience in a customer service environment and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.--Good analysis and problem solving skills for common and unique situations, and self-management skills in balancing responsibilities and prioritizing workload.--Experience in working with databases with respect to data entry, search functionality, retrieval and report generation.--Experience with programming cardkeys with appropriate access levels as requested and approved.--Experience providing appropriate security authentication and authorization for application and system access.--Experience using IT Service Management software for support and access request processingPREFERRED--General understanding of UCDHS access provisioning standards and governance structure.-Good working knowledge of the day-to-day operating environment, available tools, operating techniques and customer applications.SPECIAL REQUIREMENT - THIS POSITION MAY BE SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION, DRUG SCREEN, LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING, MEDICAL EVALUATION CLEARANCE, AND FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT
