Primary responsibilities within this level might include acting as the primary resource for training and support for Sponsor Services employees for a variety of administrative, analytical and record keeping functions for the largest and/or most complex defined contribution functions. Consults with clients and internal partners to complete administrative responsibilities. Understands changing regulations, internal processes, and system updates and develops the appropriate medium to update employees with necessary information. Depending on assigned role, duties may include but are not limited to; completing complex data manipulation, allocations, non-discrimination testing, ratio testing, performing complex calculations (i.e. QDRO, profit sharing, plan to plan transfers, etc.), and executing IRS filings (i.e. 5500); providing management level reporting including service quality, volume tracking, and/or staff performance; acting as back-up for all department functions; and providing individual or group training, updates, or support for employees in Roseville and Charlotte locations. May require semi-annual travel to Roseville or Charlotte (based on your working location) to maximize training impact. Must have ability to adapt training materials and style to the needs of the audience. Provides training/guidance to less experienced staff members and coordinates annual training for employees. Required Qualifications
5+ years of customer service experience, financial services industry experience, or a combination of both
4+ years of retirement plan experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to mentor and train less senior staff
Other Desired Qualifications
ASC testing experience
