Primary Responsibilities:Help in Knowledge Transition by knowledge sharing sessions. Need to do the documentation of Application functionalities during the Knowledge Transition periodAnalyze and dissect system requirements and technical specifications to create and execute Master Test Plan and end to end test cases along with Defect ManagementAssist business users in defining User Acceptance Testing, test cases and plansEstablish and maintain test cases and test dataCreate and maintain test cases in Quality Center along with Defect management and resolutionActively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality assuranceWork with business users, system analysts, designers and programmers to create and analyze various required project documentsParticipate in production implementation verification and being accountable for validating system qualityPlan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure system applications are free from defectsCommunicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and /or functionality within Information Technology softwareComply with standards of the software development life cycle and follow strategies, plans and procedures within information Technology softwareComply with standards and strategies of the software development life cycleIdeal candidate will possess the know how to create governance and process around quality assurance practices.Candidate will be able to communicate the process to both business and IT leadershipStudy and analyze software specifications documents to develop test scenariosCreate test cases and test data in support of test plansUnderstand issues & problems and take initiative to resolveAcquire knowledge in business domain and application workflowLearn new technologiesMaintains a healthy relationship in team between onshore and offshore
Required Qualifications:Expertise in IVR testingStrong knowledge on Health Care SystemAbility to write test cases and execute testing within a Client Server and web service application/environment for functional test and integration test along with Defect management and resolutionPreferred Qualifications:2-4 years of experienceShould be able to understand Project requirements and is involved in End to End testingWorking knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)Understanding of SDLC & STLC, Testing Methodologies, Test Case Development, Defect Reporting & TrackingShould carry a positive attitude and a good team playerTechnology Careers with Optum.
