Challenge yourself, your peers and our industry by shaping what health care looks like and doing your life's best work.(sm) As part of the Strategic Programs organization, the Business Enablement Analyst will act as a key member of a major business and technology transformation initiative, and will be empowered to support short and long term operational / strategic business activities, develop, enhance and maintain program and operational information that will have an impact on critical business decisions. You will develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes. This role will provide subject matter expertise and support in areas including program governance and initiative intake, business rules management and business readiness. Primary Responsibilities:Assist in implementation of a repeatable framework and methodology to evaluate and prioritize potential program initiatives. Assist in ensuring implementation of a Business Rules Initiative strategy across the program and work with senior leaders across the company to ensure this strategy is translatable beyond Polaris.Plan and coordinate completion of assigned business readiness and strategic planning objectives, ensuring consistency in format, methodology, design and approach across functions and teams.Successfully liaise with program and operational team members (business & technology) to ensure objectives are driven forward. Facilitate teamwork, trust and collaboration around priorities, business solutions/options and decisions.Directly support the Strategic Programs team and UHC E&I operational business leaders in executing strategic initiatives.Support governance, initiative intake and business rules management programs by scheduling, facilitating and documenting discussions to summarize findings, impacts and drive action.Prepare for and support executive review sessionsDevelop communication for audiences at all levelsDevelop and foster trusted partnerships across business and technology to obtain data and informationIdentify, evaluate and propose mitigation of potential risks to business enablementWork in conjunction with other parts of the Strategic Programs and Business Enablement team for leverage, efficiencies and high quality resultServes as a key resource to program and business leadership on complex and/or critical initiativesSolves complex problems and develops innovative solutionsTranslates concepts into practicePossesses a broad business approachParticipates in the development of business strategyDevelops and manages plans to achieve objectivesTranslates concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiencesInfluences cross-functional teams to adopt new ideas and/or approaches
Required Qualifications:A BA/ BS Degree (or higher) in Business, Healthcare or related field 3+ years of relevant experience in program/project management and/or business analysis Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including Excel, Word, Visio and Power Point Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skillsStrong oral and written communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skillsAbility to learn complex material quickly, allocate time efficiently; handle multiple projects and deliverables concurrently managing competing priorities. Change and conflict management skills, ability to influence and negotiate with others to meet project deadlines. Ability to work with enthusiasm in a challenging fast paced environment.
