Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUoHP) seeks a Director to assist in developing and teaching within a Mental Health Elective Track for the Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy program. The Elective Track Director (ETD) serves as a leader to all constituents of the Elective Track and as a liaison between the elective track constituents and the Program Director(s) (PD). The ETD, in cooperation with other academic faculty and administration, establishes faculty, staff and student performance standards, policies and procedures, and regulations related to the implementation of the elective track.
This individual demonstrates competence in leadership and assists with development and implementation of the elective track, including: aspects of planning, coordination with the PDs, curriculum design, recruitment and retention of students, development and assessment, human resource management for the elective track, student admission, instruction, evaluation and advisement. He/she is able to coordinate, plan for and implement the mission, philosophy, goals and expected outcomes of the elective track. In addition, the ETD’s primary responsibilities are to plan, coordinate, facilitate, administer, and monitor all activities related to the Elective Track. This position is scheduled to be part-time and contractual. The selected candidate will be responsible for his/her own taxes. This position reports directly to the PDs of the Post-Professional Occupational Therapy Program.
