This is the place to do your life's best work.(sm) The Provider Data Specialist is responsible for the installation and administration of assigned contracts, including, but not limited to: structure and billing set up, eligibility collection, database loading, and preparation of plan materials such as administrative documents and provider education materials. Provider Data Specialists are also responsible for overall provider contract and amendment loading and processing using various databases. Responsibilities may also include auditing contract loads for adherence to quality measurements and reporting standards. Primary Responsibilities: Solve routine problems on ownWork with supervisor to solve more complex problemsPrioritize and organize own work to meet agreed upon deadlinesWork with others as part of a teamSupervision / guidance is required for higher level tasks
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED or higherThe ability to create correspondence and work within templates in Microsoft WordThe ability to perform data entry and use sort / filter option in Microsoft Excel2+ years of data entry experience. 1+ years of customer service experiencePreferred Qualifications:Healthcare Industry experiencePrevious experience Loading Provider ContractsCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
