This is a challenging role that creates an opportunity to grow and develop while doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities:Implement and manage the health plan member experience strategy, including: Develop and monitor CAHPS work plans Remediate member appeals and grievance Support operations - focused quality initiatives Collaborate with internal functional leads to ensure timely implementation of initiatives Collaborate with internal shared service business partners servicing Maryland Medicaid membership to: Analyze monthly operations metrics to identify and recommend performance improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with State requirements Ensure clarity and alignment of health plan strategic goals and initiatives Resolve complex issues requiring collaboration across intersegment teams including clinical, benefit operations and network functions Develop work plans and maintain documentation for audit purposes and quality committee meetings Oversight of Maryland Medicaid enrollee rights and responsibility requirements Develop and implement provider communication strategies including: Collaborate with applicable stakeholders to define communications needs and develop print and web - based communications Lead project manager to define and secure required resources, develop project milestones, ensure deadlines are met and successfully implemented, Includes responsibility for local provider portal content Manage State provider network mailing requests Serve as back - up to State hotline coordinator Manage some responsibilities for the Service Quality Improvement Committee including: Schedule and organize every other month meetings Create agenda for each meeting and prepare supporting documents Take minutes during each meeting Follow up as needed after each meeting
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or 3 additional years of related work experience 2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Operations or Communications role 2+ years of experience in the Health Care industry 1+ years of experience leading or managing projects Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with Word, Excel or PowerPoint Beginner or higher level of proficiency with AccessPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Medicaid regulations and / or health plan policies and procedures Experience gathering and documenting requirements from the client or business Ability to research pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to communicate ideas and analysis in a clear concise fashion to clients, colleagues and Senior Business Leaders Careers at UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
