SSM HealthCare has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Imaging Equipment Specialist within their Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) division of Oklahoma.
SSM HealthCare is a growing health system within a four state area comprised of Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois and Wisconsin.

To provide safe and reliable equipment to support exceptional patient care.
To ensure SSM's medical equipment management program complies with all applicable government and industry regulations, national patient safety goals and standards.
Reduce and control clinical equipment capital and service costs.
To provide clinical equipment expertise to SSM decision-makers during the planning, acquisition, installation, maintenance and replacement phases of SSM's clinical equipment life cycle.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on imagining equipment to include, but not limited to: Diagnostic ultrasound, nuclear medicine, C-Arm, Mobile X-Ray, R&F, and/or Mammography equipment.
Utilize the current Computer Maintenance Management System to maintain records of work performed.
Interact with vendors to provide specialized service or order parts necessary to maintain equipment.
Provide follow-up communications to equipment end-user on the status of repairs and/or to provide training to end users as necessary.
Participate in radiology equipment set-up and installation as necessary.
Participate with regular "On-Call" schedule.
May also provide a first look evaluation on high-end diagnostic imaging device maintenance requests such as CT and MRI.
High school diploma with specialized training or equivalent experience. 3 to 5 years of experience preferred. CRES certification preferred.
Knowledge of practices and procedures, methods, tools and materials used in the use, repair, and maintenance of radiographic/imaging equipment.
Good communication and computer skills. Networking skills are highly desirable and are becoming a necessity in today's HTM environment.
Demonstrate competency related to the use of test equipment used in maintenance and troubleshooting of radiographic/imaging equipment.
Demonstrate competency related to the use of service and repair manuals including understanding of operating instructions, service diagrams, flow charts and schematics.
Siemens CT Imaging experience is a plus.
Experience in GE general R&F, Diagnostic Ultrasound, Cath Lab, MRI, and Portables, etc is a plus.
