MIT Lincoln Laboratory is currently looking for a Contracts and Agreements Manager. This position serves as a contracts manager and technology agreements administrator providing support to prime contract and collaborative agreements teams. Requires knowledge of defense contracting principles and an ability to develop solutions and craft unique business agreements to implement advanced technology research. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and understanding of business and legal ramifications of contractual agreements required.
Accomplish tasks on a wide variety of business and contractual issues related to the Laboratory prime contract with the Air Force and collaborative research agreements with non-Government organizations
Conduct research on applicability of Government regulations and statutes governing contracts and collaborative agreements
Develop internal processes and procedures necessary to coordinate and obtain management approvals
Interface with technical and program staff to develop solutions, resolve impediments, and address legal or contractual risk
Interface with Air Force officials to resolve issues and negotiate unique prime contract terms and procedures
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or the equivalent combination of education and experience required
JD or Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience desired
Experience in a defense contracting environment is desired
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in legal or contractual work is required
The ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance required
