As an eCratchit team member you will gain exposure & experience due to our wide variety of clients. Our varied client base eliminates the same old day-to-day routine.We are located in Hingham, MA.
The successful candidate will possess the following: • The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment; • The ability to effectively manage and communicate with multiple staff accountants working on multiple clients; • The ability to organize work, set priorities, follow-up, and work proactively and accurately while providing training and support to staff members; • Strong reconciliation and balance sheet analysis skills; • General ledger experience; • Be motivated, self-directed and detail-oriented; • QuickBooks familiarity a bonus; • Comfortable using technology; experience with Excel and other MS Office applications required; • Experience in budgeting and forecasting preferred; • Experience preparing and reviewing monthly financial statement reporting; • Experience with not-for-profit financial statements preferred; • Experience with government contracts a plus. • The ability to clearly communicate financial results, trends and advice to various audiences (i.e. management, finance committees and boards, funders, etc.) • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; • CPA designation required; • 10+ years of experience in accounting (some public accounting experience preferred); including GAAP financial statements and at least some exposure to tax issues.
