You will also create financial models and perform analysis for business leaders and finance management. Primary Responsibilities:Designing and delivering analytics and reporting of pharmacy and medical claimsForecast costs and utilization trends and create financial modeling using claims and other health care dataIdentify and implement process improvementsAnalyze benchmarking data, reports, processes, and measurementsDevelop/document business, analysis and reporting requirementsEvaluate and prioritize data changes and enhancements
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent field2+ years of professional business experience with emphasis in financial analysis and/or other analytical functionsIntermediate to Advanced MS ExcelAttention to detailAbility to work collaboratively as well as independentlyStrong communication skills, written and verbal Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency in SQL and/or SAS Ability to communicate, collaborate, and influence across a matrix environmentAbility to deal with ambiguity and drive resultsDesire to make an impact, manage multiple tasks and shift priorities quickly Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
