Advertised Summary Job Description: ColumbiaDoctors is one of the largest multi-specialty practices in the northeast and is affiliated with world renowned Columbia University Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. ColumbiaDoctors is currently looking for a Senior Enrollment Coordinator for our Provider Enrollment Group located in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Senior Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for all senior level enrollment and credentialing functions that are required for provider enrollment with the ColumbiaDoctors network and respective managed care and government plans. All tasks must be completed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner to ensure no adverse impact to provider revenue and member satisfaction. Expertise in customer service is a must as developing and maintaining quality relationships with Payer Representatives and internal stakeholders is required. On a regular basis, conducts comprehensive roster reconciliations and quality assurance activities to maintain the data integrity of PEG and Payer databases. At times, may be responsible for the administration of the Credentialing Committee meetings and routing of all membership applications and affiliated documents in accordance with PEG policies and procedures. The Senior EC must be a team player and be able to multitask between the multiple daily projects.
General Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience.
Additional Specific Minimum Qualifications: 1. Three years plus of related experience in health care and managed care insurance. 2. Experience with managed care operations, systems and databases. 3. Excellent oral and written communications skills. 4. Ability to be a self-starter and maintain multiple projects simultaneously. 5. Exceptional analytical and organizational skills. 6. Specialized knowledge of Credentialing/Enrollment. 7. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree preferred. Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and/or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) preferred.
