The department supports a vibrant undergraduate program in computer science and two new master’s programs in computer science and software engineering. This position is a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Computer Science. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field and demonstrate strong potential for both research and teaching. Duties include building and maintaining an active research program with national prominence, teaching of both undergraduate and graduate courses, and the mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants are particularly welcome who have primary interests in either software engineering or applied areas of computer science, such as systems, networking, and security.
