Summary Under the general direction of the Ticket Office Manager, acts as the liaison between the Ticket Office Manager, staff and the general public. Provides a variety of administrative and operational support to the facility and designated personnel.
Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide excellent customer service in all communications to both internal and external clients.
Supervise both full and part-time ticket office personnel.
Coordinate the hiring of part-time staff.
Train staff on ticketing system and other aspects of ticket operations.
Oversee preparation of work schedule for part-time employees.
Regulate the monitoring and reconciliation of part time staff during events.
Prepare payroll time records for box office personnel.
Create a positive and up beat work environment to preserve employee morale.
Assist in communications with promoter(s) and internal departments to obtain updated event schedules and provide ticket sales information.
Set-up ticketing and coordinate sales for events across the campus for the Arena, Forum, Theater, and any future venues that may be incorporated.
Facilitate campus ticketing and settlement in conjunction with and in the absence of the Ticket Office Manager as needed for shows.
Govern resident team(s) ticketing; including the creation of all games and promotions, constant communication with the external staff, verifying that ticket office staff is knowledgeable about the game day offers and promotions, and determining day-of-game staffing needs.
Support the Premium Services and Marketing Departments by processing orders, coordinating tracking events, and providing training as needed.
Construct the staffing schedule for all ticketed events across the campus.
Regulate vault funds, cash advances, promoter advances, and denominations needed for ticket sales.
Oversee the cash flow of the ticket office as needed including cash distribution, collection and deposits.
Coordinate the preparation and consolidation of daily sales reconciliations, weekly sales reports, and bank deposits of sales receipts.
Investigate and record all overages and shortages from daily operations, promptly reporting all findings to the Ticket Office Manager.
Sell tickets to all events across campus.
Remain informed of company policies and procedures; answering related internal and external questions within authority.
Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.
Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in planning and supervising the sale of tickets for a variety of events in a large recreational, sports, entertainment or other public assembly facility; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
