The headcount will play an integral role in the private equity real estate domain, comprehensive business development / financial analysis & modelling, fund management, portfolio management and market research & analysis.
Structuring of investment funding from 3rd party capital partners, including real estate funds, club deals and joint ventures. The structuring involves an understanding of investments, legal, tax and financial considerations and working with both external consultants and in-house colleagues. The funding can be target acquisitions or a blind pool strategy, and a candidate with strong investment and structuring background will be viewed favourably.
3rd party private capital raising including preparation of marketing materials, addressing investor due diligence questions, negotiations, and executing fund documentation
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential capital partners
Assist in maintaining centralized oversight of investment management business including investment performance monitoring and analysis, investor reporting, governance and returns bench marking
Contribute to firm's investment management strategy through research and market intelligence, including keeping current on competitive and regulatory landscape and best practices
To succeed in this role you will require the following demonstrable skills and attributes:
Masters / Degree in Real Estate / Finance / Business Administration from leading university, preferably with good quantitative skills and a foundation in finance and financial analysis.
Minimum 6 years of experience with real estate funds/financial institutions/developer/financial advisory firms, particularly in corporate finance/fund raising/investments.
Possesses sharp analytical, research, problem solving skills and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and negotiate transactions
Resourceful, hands-on and committed to deliver results, able to prioritize and respond well to changing circumstances and tight timelines.
Strong team player, but also able to work independently. Need to work well with different departments and business units within the Group.
Knowledge of legal and compliance framework for fund managers in Singapore and in key overseas jurisdictions is a bonus
Proven track record in dealing with international institutional investors will be viewed favourably
Proficiency in writing and speaking English and preferably Mandarin as there are extensive interaction with Chinese clients
Well versed in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
