Responsibilities This Program Specialist position is located in the Field Real Estate Services Division, within the Office of Finance and Administration (OFA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). If selected for this position, you will serve as the Project Manager ensuring compliance to the Program of Requirements (POR) for complex leasehold projects. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Working to manage cost, schedules, and procurement of furniture for TSA renovations/construction projects. Ensuring leasehold improvements adhere to agency guidelines and Program of Requirements (POR). Developing detailed statements of work utilizing the POR, Space Guidelines, and other documents for complex leasehold projects. Applying a working knowledge of facilities systems that may include water, electricity, building architecture, safety, furniture, and security. Interpreting construction documents and designs produced by design software (e.g., AUTOCAD). Using scheduling software, (e.g., Microsoft Project) and terminology to plan long term work assignments. Monitoring budget execution, obligation of funds, and report findings to ensure funds are available and appropriately allocated to specific projects. Developing plans for long term and complex leasehold improvements and construction projects. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience applying construction project management; and Experience using AUTOCAD to open, read, draw, edit, and interpret construction documents.
