Description Vanderbilt Temporary Services is a department within Vanderbilt Human Resources that provides temporary employees to all areas of the university. VTS hires temporary administrative assistants on a part-time or full-time basis and for a period of up to six months. Administrative positions require computer skills with strong knowledge of and prior experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Position requires calendaring, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, reimbursement requests, transcription, campus errands, mail distribution, as well as general administrative functions, as needed. Working as a temporary employee allows a person to showcase talents, education, and skills while exploring the job market to potentially find regular employment.
