The Contracts/Legal Division manages all aspects of the company's contracts, subcontracts, procurement of materials/services, and awarded contract reviews in support of Federal, State, and Local Government, and Commercial and Residential Programs. The Contracts Administrator shall perform the following responsibilities:
Processing and administering contract and subcontract actions (new awards and modifications) - Coordinate and interface with internal Contract and Program Management personnel, and Customer personnel on matters of business and contractual nature, such as monitoring payment milestones, addressing performance and/or funding issues, and related.
Review awarded contracts and collaborate with personnel of other departments to ensure compliance with Customer instructions.
Manage (hands-on) contracts documentation systems to include set up, input, tracking, quality reviews, analyses, report generation, and making recommendations for enhancements and/or expansion of systems. Systems are used to record, track, and manage all contracts.
Liaise with outside professionals regarding Certificates of Insurance, Additional Insureds, and other related actions to ensure compliance with Customer requirements.
Perform online Government Filings.
Manage GSA Schedules.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and Company's compliance with Government programs and initiatives.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Broad knowledge of U.S. Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Commercial contracting principles
Experience working with GSA Schedules.
Broad knowledge different contract, solicitation and agreement types to include FFP, Cost Reimbursement, Time and Materials, ID/IQ, CPFF, Teaming Agreements and Proprietary Information Agreements.
Direct responsibility for the administration of contracts/subcontracts in support of Federal, State, and local Government agency programs; contracts/subcontracts for Residential and Commercial Building/Construction services; and consultant/contractor agreements.
Broad knowledge of U.S. Government and Commercial contract terms and conditions relating to for example Limitation of Cost/Funds, performance/delivery risks, payment criteria and Software Licensing.
Direct responsibility for the review of terms and conditions for awarded contracts from Commercial and U.S. Government Customers to ensure company compliance.
Direct responsibility for review of contractual terms associated with proposals, and for interfacing with U.S. Government or Commercial counterparts.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent specific experience.
At least 5 -7 years of related work experience, preferably in an organization of similar size and scope.
Working experience with Microsoft Excel, required.
