The Department of Biochemistry at A.T. Still University, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, invites applications for Chairperson. The chairperson will report to the Associate Dean for Academic and Clinical Educational Affairs beginning July 1, 2018. The successful candidate will be responsible for envisioning, developing, and coordinating the implementation of programmatic academic innovations. Applicants must have a PhD or other doctoral degree in biochemistry or a related biomedical discipline. The successful candidate will have demonstrated breadth of mature academic skills in the discipline of biochemistry and will have significant biochemistry teaching experience at the medical and/or graduate school level. The successful candidate will demonstrate consistent scholarly productivity as a biomedical researcher with success in publication and acquisition of extramural research funding. The successful candidate will have been involved in academic governance and leadership.
