In this full time STD Clinic Manager position, you will have the opportunity to partner with Harborview Medical Center employees as program staff to provide STD and HIV clinical services, STD surveillance, disease control measures, and research projects to a program with an annual budget of approximately $6,000,000. The successful candidate will run the administration and day to day operations of the STD Clinic; a major component of the HIV/STD Program of the Prevention Division, Public Health- Seattle & King County. As the STD Clinic Manager you will manage or oversee multiple complex functions such as clinic operations, program development, personnel, contracting and purchasing, financial management and budget, information management and staff supervision. This position will collaborate closely with the HIV/STD Disease Control Officer, the Health Services Administrator for the combined HIV/STD Section, and Prevention Division Administration.

Demonstrated knowledge of public health principles, infectious diseases, and disease control measures for at-risk populations.
Demonstrated knowledge and three years of experience working at a management level in a STD clinic setting.
At least three years of experience managing a public health or related health services program, including some experience in a clinic setting.
Three or more years' experience supervising diverse staff, including licensed professional and non-professional staff.
Demonstrated knowledge and ability to develop and analyze budgets and manage complex finances in a government setting.
Master's degree in Public Health Administration or other Master's degree combined with relevant experience related to the duties of the position.
Advanced knowledge of STDs, including strategies and techniques for prevention, intervention and control.
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with King County and University of Washington administrative systems and procedures.
