Morgan Stanley International Prime Brokerage is a market leading business with a history of awards, performance and success in the prime services sector. The IPB umbrella at Morgan Stanley also incorporates both the Listed Derivatives and OTC Derivatives clearing businesses, and leverages the synergies and opportunities across the businesses to provide a tier 1 offering to our clients
The CRM team is responsible for supporting a varied client range across both Listed and OTC Clearing products, including Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Regional Banks and Pension Funds.
The successful candidate will be expected to grow and protect the revenue that Morgan Stanley currently has in several ways: - Partnering with Prime Brokerage and other product lines to have an in-depth understanding of our clients and therefore understand the commercial opportunities across product lines - Identify and realise commercial opportunities - Negotiate new commission rates and interest schedules - Lead client intelligence gathering so as the CRM we can articulate client size, future plans and organizational structure - Provide ongoing technical consulting and market colour and advice on client trends and the competitive landscape - Build relationships with key decision makers within the client - Attend client pitches and contribute to RFP documents - Become a key contributor to the future of Listed Derivatives and OTC Clearing client tools
In addition, the successful candidate will support our client base in a number of ways, namely: - An escalation point for non-standard issues - Supporting and educating our clients on new developments in the industry and new offerings to the Morgan Stanley suite of products - Ensuring Operational efficiency - Holding regular review meetings with our clients - Develop and review wider metrics across our full client base to identify and understand client trends
Each CRM will be assigned a number of account relationships of various size and complexity but will also be expected to cover a wider client base to create comprehensive coverage.
Skills required (essential)
Analytical mindset, good academic record and problem solving skills.
Experience working in a Listed Derivatives Cleared Derivative Relationship Management capacity.
Broad understanding of Listed and OTC markets – how products trade, settle and are accounted and how the market will be changing in the future
Excellent communication skills, confidence and ability to articulate complex situations.
