Job Description Wells Fargo Multifamily Capital (MFC) specializes in providing permanent financing for multifamily properties and healthcare facilities using the programs of the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), Fannie Mae, & Freddie Mac and our balance sheet including a direct purchase tax exempt housing bond program. Our veteran bankers are experienced with the various loan programs offered, and as one of the top multifamily loan servicers we remain committed to providing superior customer service before, during and after loan closing.
Duties may include: representing the bank in establishing, developing and maintaining client relationships with key sources of loan demand; actively participating in structuring loans and preparing recommendations with top management officer of the bank for the most critical/complex clients; originating, evaluating, and underwriting mortgage loans, long-term mortgage financing and short-term construction loans (loan structures may include equity features); providing risk assessment; generating targeted returns from investments; structuring credit terms; coordinating the due diligence effort; and marketing. Knowledge and expertise are equal to managers.
The Senior Relationship Manager will be responsible for working directly with other Wells Fargo Line of Businesses (LOB's) on cross-sell relationships.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
7+ years of relationship management experience, commercial real estate experience, or a combination of both
Commercial real estate underwriting experience
Experience developing and cultivating professional relationships
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Ability to work independently with sound judgment in the application of analytical conclusions to credit approval, structure, and management recommendations
Ability to generate revenue and actively participate in the successful completion of complex transactions
Other Desired Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of the Government-Sponsored Enterprise (GSE) and FHA multifamily lending programs.
Ability to effectively represent Wells Fargo MFC to customers and line of business partners.
Established track record of successfully influencing and collaborating at all organizational levels.
