In this integral role, working independently and with the other members of the compensation team, you will be responsible for performing complex analyses to support Temple University Health System's (TUHS) compensation program, and assuring that the health system's 9,400+ current and new employees are paid fairly and accurately. Responsibilities will include job classification, salary determinations, pay increase processing, the development and processing of total rewards and other related projects. Be prepared to also act as a consultant and key advisor to management as well as collaborate with other Compensation and Recruiting colleagues.
Five years' of work experience as a compensation professional.
Some experience in the healthcare industry, if not in a hospital setting, and/or with unionized employers, is preferred.
Experience using electronic salary market data tools like Pay Factors, and HRIS applications like PeopleSoft.
A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
At least one relevant professional certification (CCP - Certified Compensation Professional, PHR - Professional in Human Resources, and/or SPHR - Senior Professional in Human Resources) is preferred.
