The Information Security Admin is responsible for maintaining and supporting security systems to ensure company assets are protected. This role is also responsible for performing duties to support the day-to-day information security operations, supporting and maintaining a broad suit of information security tools and technologies.
Essential Job Functions
Maintain and support security systems used for security operations (ie SIEM, Vulnerability Scanning, Endpoint Protection/Anti-Virus, Sandboxing, IDS/IPS)
Monitor and troubleshooting security tools
Assist Information Security Engineers to ensure systems meet compliance requirements and security baselines
Work with systems Engineers to evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies
Participate in security compliance efforts (e.g., PCIDSS, SOX)
Review systems to determine if they to comply with established security standards
Work with development teams to assess and analyze security for software solutions
Participate in incident handling as needed
Other related duties to support the information security function
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Security
3 years' general IT experience in supporting IT infrastructure or networking infrastructure
Knowledge of security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc
Experience supporting Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems
Exceptional problem solving, communication, and customer service skills
Preferred but not required: Security +, CISSP certification
This is a full-time opportunity; Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
