O'Reilly Auto Parts is looking for a professional and experienced System Engineer to join our team. Our Retail Software team develops and supports the operational tools and hardware for more than 4700 stores. Our system engineer will help us design and create the infrastructure and hardware applications that support our enterprise-level technology stack. Our team uses Python, Linux, and Atlassian tools to deliver our software.
What the Retail Software Team is looking for:
Extensive experience with Linux administration roles
Experience with programming in either Python or Bash
Additional experience with Ansible or other configuration management tools
Previous experience with VMWare administration
Familiarity with database structures such as Postgres and MySQL
The ability to learn quickly under pressure
A strong sense of independence and self-motivation
High aptitude in troubleshooting and critical thinking
