This role will have a high level of interaction with external customers, vendors and internal clients to provide updates and answer questions around contracts and legal issues. Primary Responsibilities: Continuous process improvement of contract templates Researching legal issues Developing a tracking mechanism for contract agreements Looking for someone to assist with managing a contracts database, performing legal research, has regulatory and privacy background and can assist with special projectsPositions in this function provide assistance and support to the legal staff by gathering information, researching the law, and preparing opinions and legal documentsResearches statutes, regulations, and court decisions and prepares summaries of finding for attorneysDrafts generic, state-specific and / or client specific contractsSubmit, track, monitor and successfully conclude state and federal filings submitted to obtain licenses and certifications. Paralegal certificate preferred but not requiredGenerally work is self-directed and not prescribedWorks with less structured, more complex issues Serves as a resource to other
