This position will have oversight to a large complex team that is responsible for Dual Special Needs Product, Nursing Facility, and MMP (Medicare Medicaid Products). This individual will be responsible for leading team focused on STAR Ratings, Quality, HEDIS, HOS, general operations and program oversite. Manage daily operations of multiple levels of staff and multiple functions/departments across one or more business units and be responsible for the following:Perform analyses to help drive product strategies (SWOT analysis, competitive positioning, financial, etc.) Oversee internal and/or external business partners with completion of tasks and resolution of strategy driven opportunities (expansion, RAF, STARS, etc..) Oversee the review, creation, and/or maintenance of workflows to ensure they are up-to-date and operationally efficient Provide guidance, expertise, and/or assistance to internal and/or external partners (e.g., claims; call center; benefits; sales; quality; clinical) to ensure programs and strategies are implemented and maintained effectively Monitor project performance against internal and/or external service level agreements Analyze budget performance and variances throughout the fiscal year, and recommend and/or make necessary adjustments and corrections Conduct regular meetings (e.g., JOCs; QBRs) with relevant internal and/or external stakeholders to review and discuss updates and outstanding issues (e.g., project implementation readiness; compliance and/or quality audit results; out-of-compliance issues; staffing issues)Conduct deep dive program reviews with relevant internal and/or external stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvementPartner with relevant internal and/or external stakeholders to develop and/or review potential strategies, programs, and plans (e.g., affordability initiatives; quality programs; projected resource needs)
Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with Medicare products (preferably Dual eligible Medicare/Medicaid)7 years of leadership experience (direct and indirect leadership) in a multi-function matrixed environment5+ years Project/Program management oversight and leadership Management experience in a health plan or functional area (Marketing/Product/Operations) experienceDSNP and/or LTSS experienceHealth insurance or government programs or non-profit (such as A.A.A.) experienceDemonstrated ability to work and thrive within an ambiguous environmentInfluence management skills both internally and externallyPreferred RequirementsUndergraduate degree or higherHealth insurance or government programs or non-profit (such as A.A.A.) experienceCareers at UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
