Join us and help people live healthier lives while doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities:Lead, mentors and develops a team of 14 Clinical Admin Coordinators (CAC) Sets team direction, resolves problems and provides guidance to members of CAC team to support internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to field clinical staff and providers Works with the Director to set departmental priorities to address business and operational goals and challenges Develops solutions to address new, often complex customer requirements that address operational, clinical and customer needs Ensures audits are conducted, standards are met, successful outcome are achieved Reviews operational and performance metrics regularly and drives action plan development and execution Collaborates across UHG including Medical, Site Directors, senior leaders, sales, account management, product organization, and other stakeholders as needed
Required Qualifications:Bachelor Degree in Business, Healthcare administration, or health-related fields 2+ year previous supervisory or management experience (including performance management functions i.e. hiring, performance evaluations, corrective action plans, etc.) Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word Experience working for an insurance company or business related setting supporting operations Strong team building, leadership and mentoring skillsPreferred Qualifications:2+ years working directly with Long-Term Support Services / Home and Community-Based service providers or intermediaries such as Aging Service Access Points (ASAP), Fiscal Intermediaries, Personal Care Management Agencies, and Adult Day Health Centers Demonstrated ability with developing strategic plans, attainable goals, drive performance and achieve targets Experience working with the Medicaid populationCareers at UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
