This is the place to do your life's best work.(sm) The Director of Provider Data is responsible for various activities related to the provider network database which may include any or all of the following: database maintenance, reporting and extracting data for various reports and analyses, initiating database improvement. Directors of Provider Data develop and maintain standards for database integrity and quality assurance, coordinate corrective activities to clean database and retain users, and manage communication processes with other departments regarding database improvements. Other responsibilities include conducting audits and providing feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance, maintaining current provider data to ensure the quality of the network, and may be responsible for representing the provider network area on company IT projects, reporting and tracking provider calls and complaints, or for the support, coordination, and production of the paper directory cycles. This position will be accountable for managing the loading of provider demographic and contract data into the provider core system (NDB), Emptoris (Contract system) and all legacy systems. The Director will have oversight of the Southeast Region and approximately 150 domestic employees. Responsibilities also include oversight of off-shore employees assigned to the SE Region. This position will ensure all performance targets are achieved (Turnaround time, Quality, Load by Effective Date metrics) for the installation of new providers and ongoing maintenance of demographic and contractual changes (adds/terms). The Director will be responsible for leading process and quality improvement initiatives in order to improve operational performance and efficiencies. The Director will also be involved with operations-specific initiatives as well as other national projects and will work closely with senior operations and business organization leaders on these initiatives. Primary Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategies for a function or discipline that span a large business unit or multiple markets / sitesDirect others to resolve business problems that affect multiple functions or disciplinesProduct, service or process decisions are most likely to impact multiple functions and / or customer accounts (internal or external). Lead operations to meet performance targets and drive performance excellence.Identify and implement plans to improve Quality results for the demographic and loading processes.Identify and implement process improvements and system automation to eliminate manual processes and enhance overall productivity levels of staff.Oversee the Provider Data Reconciliation reporting processes. Focus on eliminating fallout into the Reconciliation queues and ensure work is processed timely and accurately.Accountable for oversight of off-shore vendor performance for SE RegionAdminister the appropriate cost and service measurements (metrics, measures, controls) to ensure the achievement of all key performance objectives that impact the financial performance of your organizationDetermine performance objectives / metrics and define tools to measure progress and ensures consistent achievement of business objectivesAnalyze performance data and work to improve operating efficienciesDevelop a climate for superior employee and provider satisfactionImplement strategies to improve Provider Net Promoter Score (NPS)Align with key business partners to proactively reduce and eliminate reworkAwareness of business and financial planDevelop, motivate and retain employees and implement proactive actions to improve the employee engagement index on the annual Vital Signs surveyWork with Human Capital on initiatives including compensation planning, performance management, staffing and employee relations concerns/issues, employee recruitment, training, teaming and employee developmentResponsible for turnover management, employee retention and attendanceHelp to develop and motivate high caliber business leadersRelocation assistance may be available.
