We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Analyst II - Solutions Development.
This position acts as an independent contributor IT professional, applying technical expertise in one or more IT disciplines. This position selects, customizes, configures, installs and supports packages. This position understands the work processes of assigned business areas, and collects user requirements and translates them into well-engineered, tested, and deployed business application systems. Position responsibilities include the analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of information. Receives general direction, work in progress is reviewed routinely.
Receive inbound calls and document all issues accurately and appropriately.
Demonstrated ability to understand and support an integrated ancillary systems with EMR and downstream systems under some guidance
Work in a team environment with architecture team, project manager, and cross functional application leads to ensure the overall ancillary system deployment including Integration test script creation, end to end integration testing, issue documentation and risk assessment
Working knowledge of device integration- Medical equipment integration with EMR through middleware such as Capsule, Extension, or lab middleware
Working knowledge of Ancillary Clinical Applications such as Philips physiological and Telemetry Monitoring System, OBIX fetal monitoring, Muse Cardiology ECG System, Sunquest Clinical LIS etc.
Strong experience in working to educate clinical and administrative staff around new systems, and provide application training for a variety of users to include physicians, nurses, and other associated staff around various healthcare systems and associated technologies.
Provide Go-Live, implementation, and post implementation support, and interact with clinical staff and vendors.
Provide Day to day assistance with application issues.
Provide hardware and software troubleshooting.
Selects appropriate work procedures or approaches to address technical challenges.
Independently designs technical solutions for modules of a project, or to resolve most problems.
Responsible for gathering, compiling and synthesizing information with regard to technology processes or systems.
Develops design and functional specifications, produces deliverables related to the project(s) assigned and assists in post implementation support and system enhancements.
Responsible for the design and development of IT systems.
Provide support of HL7 interface/knowledge of HL7 interfaces.
Additional support responsibilities and duties as required.
Must have a four (4) Bachelors degree and at least four (4) years of experience.
