The Compensation Analyst serves as a liaison to the broader HR Community throughout campus. This role supports the Sr. Compensation Analyst and reports into the Talent and Rewards manager.Major activities include:- Conducting job evaluations, including communication of job evaluation results and associated base pay information for the role.- Assisting in the data aggregation and analysis of trends for quarterly base pay spending scorecards.- Assisting in the execution of Annual Compensation Process including creation of educational materials, toolkit and data aggregation and analysis on spending.- Managing the market data survey portfolio, including submission process for salary and compensation trends surveys; data refreshes in Workday; cost tracking; and market data library maintenance.- For market data coverage, identifying gaps in coverage and new surveys or survey matches to increase number of jobs with external market data.- Assisting in the development and delivery of compensation education materials and training efforts. May conduct training sessions.- Identifying and implementing enhancements to compensation processes in Workday.- Contributing to the development of compensation policies, processes, and governance to ensure alignment with University goals and reflective of regulatory and competitive landscapes.
