The Corporate Staff Groups Testing, Tools and Reporting Team is seeking a candidate who will share responsibility for the planning and execution of compliance testing for Corporate Staff Groups, focused on regulatory reporting such as the Volcker Rule, CCAR/Stress Testing, Reg W, Legal Entity Reporting, and the Market Risk Capital Rule. Experience in conducting and leading compliance testing or auditing is required; in addition, specialized knowledge in one or more of the specified subject areas is desired.
Provides compliance support to business lines through leadership of compliance reviews, identification and reporting of issues, and validation of corrective actions to ensure regulatory compliance. May assist with program development and planning, special initiatives and providing guidance and supervision to less experienced consultants. Exercises effective communications and promotes positive client relations with business line team members and management. Collaborates with and reports findings and recommendations to senior management concerning compliance issues. Facilitates an efficient and valued review process. Thoroughly documents and succinctly writes test work summaries and compliance activity reports. Maintains authoritative knowledge and full understanding of laws and regulations, regulatory guidance, policy and procedure concerning all compliance functions reviewed. Knows and effectively applies corporate regulatory compliance risk management policy and procedures. Keeps abreast of regulatory changes and issues affecting compliance reviews. Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
3+ years of testing or quality assurance experience
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Experience creating, executing, and documenting compliance testing
Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
Other Desired Qualifications
Current or previous experience in Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk group
3+ years of conducting compliance testing or auditing in any of the following areas: Reg W, Volcker, CCAR/Stress Testing, Corporate Risk, or Legal.
Knowledge of Wells Fargo corporate compliance policies, procedures and standards
Experience leading regulatory compliance reviews and working independently as a review lead
