Predominantly you will be designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver value to our organization.Primary Responsibilities:Design, development, enhancement, and support of SOAP and REST services used to integrate our Oracle eBusiness Suite application with our partner applications Take the system requirements and functional design prepared by our business and systems analysts team and creating a technical design document Implement and unit test the solution using JDeveloper and Oracle SOA Suite 11g Work with the testing teams to triage and resolve defects identified during testing Help the support team triage and resolve defects found in our production systems Proxy services, Message Routing, Content Enrichment, Message Filtering, Message Transformation, Guaranteed delivery, Message sequencing, Batch message processing, error handling
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED 1+ years of experience creating applications using Oracle SOA Suite 11g Experience using the JDeveloper and/or Eclipse integrated development environment(s) Experience using RDBMS databases such SQL Server and Oracle Understanding of testing tools and unit test scripting, and testing methodologies Ability to be on-call on occasionPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (or higher) Thorough understanding of modern software design and development methodologies (e.g., OO) Experience with Oracle middleware products (WebLogic, BPEL, OSB, ADF) Experience designing and developing concurrent, high throughput web services Experience writing code using Java Experience creating applications using Oracle SOA Suite 12c Hands-on experience with the entire software development lifecycle i.e. requirements, design, implementation, integration testing, deployment and post production support Experience with SOA Governance & Best Practices - for SOAP/REST Web Service development, Managing business asset such as XSD's, WSDL, Process Definitions, XSLT etc, Design time UDDI, Experience with Policy managementTechnology Careers with Optum.
