Join us and start doing your life's best work.Primary Responsibilities:Assist all customers (members, providers, payors, etc.) with all inquiriesResponds to telephone inquiries related to claims processing and eligibility information in a professional manner while displaying empathy toward the callers concernInterprets pricing and benefit documents to ensure accurate responses to callsForwards issues, attaching all necessary documentation, to the appropriate internal departments to ensure the correction of inaccurately processed claims, i.e.; Appeals, UM, Claims, etc.Plans and organizes workload to ensure efficient and timely resolution of issues
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GEDCandidates must be able to work a day shift schedule, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.Candidates must have experience directly related to opticianryPreferred Qualifications: Bilingual and fluent in English and SpanishCustomer service experience in a medical claims processing environmentWorking knowledge of CPT, ICD - 9 coding, medical terminology and HCFA 1500 claim formatsWorking knowledge of CMS (HCFA) and DMHC guidelinesAbility to interpret pricing and benefit documentsExperience with HIPAAKnowledge of standard billing practicesCompletion of an accredited optical programSoft Skills:Excellent communication skillsStrong organizational and prioritization skillsAbility to retain composure in stressful situationsAbility to read with attention to detailCareers with MARCH® Vision Care.
