We have an outstanding opportunity in St. Louis for a Project Manager with 5-7 years of professional Project Management experience. The ideal applicant would have project management experience in leading multiple projects concurrently. Must have strong communication and organization skills to affectively work across various functional areas.
Manages all phases of a project: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring / Controlling and Closing.
Uses corporate and industry standard project management tools and techniques to effectively manage projects.
Develops and implements project plans and support multiple projects simultaneously. This includes establishing project goals and objectives, identifying scope, developing project schedules, requesting resources, analyzing risks and contingencies, managing budgets (when established) and communicating project status to all stakeholders.
Manages project expectation, measure performance and provide verbal and written project updates.
Maintains governing documents for the project team, including project plans, meeting minutes, action items, issue and risk logs and other artifacts.
Manages multiple concurrent efforts with multiple stakeholders across various functional areas.
Identifies process improvement opportunities and assist with implementation of solutions.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
Proven project management skills with 5-7 years of project management experience.
Bachelor's Degree required
Proficient with MS Office applications and project management methodologies and tools.
Strong organizational, leadership and problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Experience with developing project plans and maintaining the project schedule and dashboard.
Experience initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing projects utilizing best practice in all knowledge areas of the project management development cycle.
Experience with facilitating project workshops, meeting coordination, identifying and tracking requirements, mitigating risk and documentation and reporting of project activities.
License/Certification in Project Management: PMP, PgMP or CAPM
Working knowledge of SharePoint and Visio preferred
Experience applying LEAN / Six Sigma methodologies
