And you'll do your life's best work.(sm) The purpose of the Pre-QA position is to insure that MSLA accurately analyze and interpret the client's service contract request form. Primary Responsibilities:Review Examination request forms from Veterans Affairs in any form delivered (hard copy print outs or CMS delivery via CAATsDetermine appropriateness of examination requests as determined by VA protocols.Make independent decisions on appropriateness of examination requestsEnsure that all examinations are reviewed for Diagnostic Testing requirements and apply VA protocols in the selection of the sameCollaborate with Medical Records department to insure that records do not contain ancillary testing that would be out of regulations from the VADirect Medical Records in determine type of records to be uploaded to include ancillary testingCollaborate with Schedules to insure that "Walk-in" Diagnostics are handled appropriately clarify the need for sameCollaborate with Providers to insure that testing is appropriate and requiredEffectively manage the work through the use of Microsoft Products and on proprietary CMS systemOther duties as assigned
Required Qualifications: Bachelors of Science degree, in Kinesiology or Biology or Biological Sciences and/or 2 years equivalent experienceStrong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and outlook, and ability to understand and communicate with IT team Minimum 55 wpm ( With Accuracy) Preferred Qualifications:Strong Communication skills and decision-making skillsCareers with MSLA.
