The University of Pittsburgh's Department of Med-Div of Infectious Disease is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Senior Research Administrator. This position is a supervisory position responsible for the pre-award administration, and post-award accounting of the HIV/AIDS basic science and translational research projects. These projects total approximately 6 million dollars annually and are complex and include investigators from other departments and institutions. This position will work closely with the Principal Investigators to ensure adherence to government regulations and deliverables cited in the contract and/or projects are achieved. Ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines as well as flexibility with work schedule is essential. The incumbent must be familiar with University policies and procedures as well as external funding source guidelines.

Minimum Related Experience Level Required
3-5 years experience
Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position
Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as accounting with at minimum three years of relevant and progressive research administration experience. Lead and/or supervisory experience preferred.
