And you'll do your life's best work.(sm) The Billing Analyst is responsible for oversight of billing and related reporting systems. This includes Managing daily operations, contract and accounting policy compliance, reporting and analyzing productivity and metrics. This position is responsible for streamlining billing processes. Must be extremely detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and sound judgment. Ability to effectively manage time and complete multiple tasks, while continually meeting critical deadlines and responding to changing priorities. Within this role there is a high level of professionalism, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. We are seeking an individual who has the ability to work independently with limited direction, as well as in a team environment. Primary Responsibilities:Ensure the customer billing process occurs in a timely and accurate mannerProvide and analyze metrics related to billingMonitor the billing system calculations during normal operationsPrepare reports and analysis as required in support of the monthly financial closing process and contractual obligationsMentor and provide guidance to Billing teamAssist with internal controls implementation and maintenanceRespond to ad hoc and participate in special projects as assigned by management
Required Qualifications:1+ years of supervisory experience, with a team of at least 23+ years of direct billing experience, preferably in similar industryIntermediate with MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel (pivot table, v hookups, links)Preferred Qualifications:Adaptable, flexible and a multi-tasker with the ability to meet tight deadlinesAbility to work independently and demonstrate strong interpersonal, written and verbalcommunication skillsStrong work ethic with excellent time management, written communication and organizational skillsCareers with MSLA.
