The Department of Economics at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for a tenure track Assistant or Associate (with tenure) Professor to begin August 15, 2018. The successful candidate for this position will engage in high quality research, teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and participate in departmental governance and service activities.
Minimum Experience / Education:
UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
We are seeking a dynamic and collegial individual with a strong commitment to excellence in high-quality, innovative research and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. A PhD in Economics, or closely related field, from an accredited school is required. We are primarily seeking someone with a research and teaching interest in macroeconomics.
