The Manager, Enterprise Risk is responsible for ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations. The manager is responsible for completion of tasks and initiatives, as assigned by the Manager to improve the performance for on-time, on-budget deliverables meeting enterprise objectives. This position has the overall responsibility for all budgeted work established within the Program and in turn delegates responsibility to the appropriate staff. Ensures compliance for QA, training, process improvement, environmental policy/protection, contract administration, and program improvement.
The Enterprise Risk Manager has the following responsibilities:
Develops and oversees the CNL Enterprise Risk Register
Identify, assess and document key risks in a clear and understandable framework
Utilize the knowledge of risks to inform strategic planning, priority setting, decision-making and resource allocation
Apply due diligence in the treatment and management of risks on an ongoing basis to reduce the extent of risk exposure
Develop and oversee the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Risk Universe and provide a common structure, classification and understanding of enterprise-level risks
Prepares and presents senior level reports on risk program status
Facilitates risk discussions
Define and communicate risk appetite
Facilitate effective risk monitoring and reporting
Ensures effective communication of Key Risk Indicators among stakeholders, partners, and customers
Develop and maintain CNL ERM policies and procedures; Integrate ERM with other CNL management processes
Defines roles and responsibilities, manages performance, and provides constructive feedback
Manages and reports on project performance to clients, senior management and other stakeholders; and
Participates in management team meetings related to project performance, priorities and staffing.
A bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business or a related discipline, or diploma with at least 7-10 years of related experience, with at least 3 to 4 years of direct supervisory experience.
Experience leading and implementing Enterprise Risk Management across a multi-discipline portfolio of work with an annual operating budget greater than $500 million.
Experience working under a Government-owned, Contractor-operated arrangement or similar contract model.
Has a sound understanding of the interaction of operations, projects and supporting groups to fulfill site missions.
Able to assume a leadership role when coordinating effort associated with assembling reports from multiple stakeholders.
Knowledge of risk management and reporting methodologies processes and tools.
Competence and successful experience in planning and reporting within a team environment.
Candidates must have a minimum of seven (7) years demonstrated experience in working with multi-disciplinary subjects/topics involving organizing, planning, coordinating, assessing, analyzing and presenting information and ideas.
Experience in reviewing strategic issues/topics and developing and writing business plans, reports, presentation packages, briefing notes and annotated agendas.
Redesigns the division’s work activities to meet changing department needs.
